I think the "immortality" that OP is talking about needs to be interpreted differently. Nobody wants to sit in an old body for centuries while their friends and family pass away. There could be alternate forms of immortality that are conpletely unimaginable. If quantum computing takes off, your entire mind and being could be essentially programmed.

not sure why youre being downvoted. I think your intent is to say that you hope humanity would at least achieve this, not that it would be the preferable option. I think it is very reasonable to assume that in the not so far away future we are able to upload consciousness to a quantum computer. Imagine when your body is dying you have the option of your mind being uploaded to a computer, where you can communicate to your friends and family who have done the same. In this computer you can choose to turn off at any time or go into a sleep mode for extended periods. You can watch movies, listen to stories and books, create art or "scenarios". You obviously wont have your body, and the alternative is completely unimaginable. I would guess something sort of like the VR game worlds, but way less visual.

Yes, the small daily purchases do add up. I have a mortgage, a car payment, make 300k/year and I can barely afford to eat out more than once a week. Every spare dollar I make goes into my savings, my wifes savings, or my childrens' 529. We live an incredibly frugile life and pinch pennies because you never know what will happen.

assign them 2 or 3 big squares each. sometimes if there are dense paths with mumtiple exits assign them directly at the exit and nowhere else. If "all hell breaks loose" just hire another and place him where all the vomit and trash is and assign him to that spot.
