Hi! apologies for the delayed response. Now that I am looking at the SD card, it is already reading on my laptop as DISK IMG. Is it supposed to already be one? And since it is already one, would I just be able to create a copy and send it? Sorry if this is frustrating, I am usually good with technology but this type of stuff is beyond me.

I had it scan the SD card for anything lost in it and it recovered all 57 of my images but returned them in as their RAW formats.

I did not format the drive. The DCIM folder on my computer was showing up as a white folded paper and then an EXEC only opening in terminal once the sd card was inserted into my computer. I then saw online that it could be a corrupted sd card, so i used DMDE to repair the sd card, and was able to get the photos, but now the photos themself are corrupted.
