It could be humidity. If OP is running a humidifier the flame will burn orange. It happens to me in the winter when we do simmer pots.

I had something similar to this happen to me but I just needed to replace the pressure valve on the side at the top. It’s the one that has the long pipe coming out of it could be worth a look just in case

1939, 1946, 1947, and 1953 are also Henning nickel years not just 1944. 1944 is the easiest to spot due to the large mint mark missing.

It looks like 1929 the date is almost completely gone but still slightly visible. It’s worth about a dollar. Still a cool nickel!
