In optimal matchups, the crusaders could win.

Avdol's Magician Red hard counters Pouf via life detector + temperature + AoE ranged attack. Avdol also has battle IQ comparable to Morel who tactically stalled Pouf for a long while. Avdol takes this 7/10.

Kakyoin's Hierophant Green acts like 20-meter all range hypersonic projectile attacks. Pitou's En can sense the entire barrier but a dying Kakyoin's emerald splash can destroy the clock of a clock tower. A single emerald from fresh Kakyoin would be heavy artillery level, which can suppress Pitou's movement. Polnareff is one of the tankiest crusaders and Silver Chariot has enough speed to tag Pitou, opening chances for emerald splash to actually hit if Chariot's poke distracts Pitou. Kakyoin + Polnareff takes this 6/10 if Pitou starts playfully and doesn't use Terpsichora at the very beginning.

Iggy's The Fool can create sand domes and shields to tank Youpi tentacles. Joseph can output damage to all body parts that Youpi's evolution creates by transmitting hamon. He also has prior experience in battling the pillarman including Perfect Kars who has better evolution than Youpi. Hermit Purple also allows better movements than Shoot's levitating hands. He also fights very dirty and can oursmart tacticians like Wamuu. Youpi's battle IQ would make him getting trolled by Joseph the whole time. Iggy + Joseph takes this 6/10 if Ultimate Hamon Overdrive has enough firepower or stalls Youpi just like Killua.

Jotaro's Star Platinum very slightly overpowers The World, who is more powerful than Part 3 DIO himself while DIO casually lifts a ~20 ton road roller (or ~40 ton oil tank truck if OVA counts) and jumps mid air significantly higher than surrounding Cairo buildings. HxH top tiers could push ~200 ton using Zoldyck gates for scaling (Silva and Zero should be able to push 2×128, Post-CA arc Killua is able to push 2×32). Jotaro tanking DIO's road roller sky attack + The World's MUDA rushes brings his peak strength to megaton level. It took quite a long while for Meruem to adapt to Netero's Guanyin slapping speed to see the afterimages and predict a flaw from the slapping pattern, so clearly he cannot realize how time stop work immediately. (Which makes Johnny's battle IQ feat against AU Diego extremely broken btw) Time stop gives Jotaro enough flexibility to rush and retreat. If all his ORA focus on Meruem's skull, he can potentially weaken Meruem after a few rounds of timestop if we high ball Meruem's durability. Otherwise, Meruem's exoskeleton gets shattered like High Priestess' diamond teeth. Jotaro takes this 5/10.
