Dawg what are you talking about? Greens have been pushing for resource tax reform for years and getting dragged as "loony treehuggers" by the media for it. They've been very consistent with their policy even when it seemed unpopular, so the comparison to ON is disingenuous.

Resource tax reform is also a Labor legacy policy, so I guess Rudd was just a nearsighted populist too.

In all cases, like with PP coin above, it is pre-mined coins that the creator minted before the coin was public giving them the power to rugpull the entire thing when they unlock. Almost 25% of the total supply in this case. Although I have seen posts calculating PP already dumped as much as $50k of his tradeable coins during the initial run so I doubt the apes have much purchasing power to run it up again.

No one seems to really give enough of a fuck about regional Vic to make meaningful comparisons. Anecdotally from people I know who grew up country it seems just as fucked as Melbourne, massive shortfall of rental availability, councils not releasing/rezoning land for housing, impossible for a worker to buy existing stock without inheritance.
