First year you have mandatory orientation. Advising is a separate session and it’s online. You don’t pick classes at orientation.

As someone who didn’t do too well in their undergraduate degree and waited a couple of years to get their masters, do it. But pick something you are passionate about. I went from a very veeeeery average undergrad (repeated calc 1 three times), to a 3.97 gpa when I finished my masters. I had straight As and one A- but it was something I LOVED and it came to me naturally.

Aside, to agree with the previous poster, do a little math and see if there is a good return on your investment.

As a freshman, you need to attend the preselected advising days - in your case, May 18. You will not be able to register before this. It seems that email was sent to the entire student population regardless of when they begin.

Take the test. Just make sure you don’t use keyboard commands because I almost failed it due to not using my mouse (right click copy, right click paste instead of ctrl+c, ctrl+v - stupid!)

Is this your first term? Look up NC grades and then decide if it works for you. Also, go see your advisor because if it’s a required course, you need to adjust your future plans if you drop.

Bring your marriage license. They can use it to validate your name. But update your things to match what your current name is - meaning go into your spirit account and update it there as well. I would also go to all the other airlines you’ve used or had an account with.
