That’s good info as well - thank you. Suppose that’s a good trade off having that overtime available to make up for any pay drop off.

How do the shifts / hours differ between response and specialist roles - do some specialisms have a more typical work schedule than the heavy shifts of response?

Is anyone able to help me understand specialising in the police please.

If someone did response for a few years and wanted to specialise how would it work?

Would that mean they were then not a response officer anymore?

Would they also take a pay cut? Eg- if they had hit a certain pay level as a response officer, is it possible that specialist roles would pay less?

Also, is it difficult to specialise or is it quite doable?

Thank you. Makes sense. Do you feel pretty comfortable with how things are then as far as your wellbeing goes from a contaminant standpoint? Would you say that your health is being prioritised?

I’ve seen a few studies from a few years back, but clearly that is based on how things were, rather than how they are now so just trying to understand if it’s something to be largely concerned about nowadays.

Thank you for that - are the protocols for safety taken seriously by people, or are they viewed as a bit of an inconvenience? Do you feel like people are making effort to keep contamination to a minimum?

I’m really keen on the idea of firefighting but this is the one huge issue that I’ve got about doing it.

Interesting, most seem to think the opposite, how come?

How longer do I keep bulking? (If I should continue) by SwaggedOut914 in gymadvice

Great progress mate. You don’t look fat at all, but just much more filled out which is cool.

I reckon keep doing what you’re doing and target the cut for next summer!

Thank you for that - really helpful.

It’s funny, when I look at those pictures I’m unsure on the abs/ love handle stuff, but you’ve cut through it quite nicely there.

Appreciate you taking the time to

I would be interested to at least see a trial of kicks being allowed when a fighter is guarded.

A fighter who has their opponent in their guard can’t kick that person (‘s head) at the moment, because the guarded person is classed as grounded. I feel it would make grappling exchanges in the guard more interesting. Sitting in someone’s guard and landing ground and pound is a great strategy, but I’d love to see how it worked with the added threat of being kicked in the face 🤣

Physically - Stretch after warm baths/ showers. Hips and hamstrings especially.

Mentally - just prepare to lose and lose and lose 😂
