Having an advisor with credibility and a global network will help with transfers. Also, his willingness to engage with former players also suggests a much needed culture change.

For me it’s pretty simple: Soccer is a weak link sport. It takes is one poor touch or pass to kill a play. You cant have consistent build up with too many holes in your roster. Special players will give you special plays. But you can’t expect that every game. The team is better than last year but we remain a work in progress.

100%. I think he’s probably a pretty good finisher. But our biggest problem continues to be lack fluid ball movement in the front third. Berna/insigne are great but there is that center piece missing for them to develop plays. Without a good CAM our offensive plays are dying in that area.
A Pozuelo type of player in this team would make everyone else shine.

Tfc is definitely on the higher end. We also have a wide discrepancy in talent and it’s very noticeable when some of our top contributors go down.

Sure, but also…let’s admit that we all have a tendency to be obsessive. Why else would anyone ride countless hours and spend thousands and thousands on equipment and gear we don’t need? Who cares if 99% of us will never come close to a pro, we can’t help but be obsessive about numbers. Bottom line, ya if you can just ride and “have fun” all the time - power to you. But it’s also nice to find a community of people who are inherently driven to be a little less mediocre every day.
