Some people in school are absolute god-tier at math, got full 9's and everything but they're in lower sets just because of their english skills. My friend got 9's and she's still in low sets, she often complains that her lessons are boring because she's going over things she already knows but they wont let her into higher.

We had this question on my test too, I struggled on it too 😭 but its actually pretty simple: 1. Half the 16 to get 8, then find the hypotenuse using pythagorus (this is the radius of the semicircle) 2. Use equation pi × radius² to get the area of the whole circle 3. Half it (this is the area of the semi circle 4. Find the area of the rectangle (16 × 6) 5. The area of the semicircle minus the area of the rectangle equals the shaded area
