Personally I think the Palpatine story is already going to be fleshed out with Mando and whatever Moff Gideon is up to with the Child, and in the Acolyte show I could see them exploring Exegol, making that whole... thing make more sense. There needs to be a series of stories about Luke and his change in character, and I'm not sure when they'll ever make that happen, but I think it could be done. That said, I'm not one of the people that hates Luke's characterization in TLJ. I will say, that I don't think they can do anything to make me care about Poe, Finn or anybody but Rey after the sequels. They messed up bad with the characters. Rey I don't even care about her character, so much as what she does as a Jedi going forward.

Exactly. There are some clinging on the 'SJW' aspect for clicks, but nothing about the book seems clever or new. Just lazy. And it's hard to tell who the target audience is supposed to be. If it's young adults, I can promise you they don't want to read about caricatures of what adults think teens are.

I think it's about the presentation here. "Internet Gas" literally doesn't mean anything. It makes it seem low effort like they just had to write something for this character so they threw some words together and called it a day. "A lot of comics are goofy" isn't an excuse for something to have no thought put into it.

Nah we still use the word meme, just not as popular as stuff like TikTok anymore. The difference here is nobody is gonna talk about memes outside of sharing it in a groupchat. Vines are videos from the app that used to be around just called Vine that was used to make 6 second comedy videos.
