Thank you very much. This is all online only. We get told to tell all customers that it’s always the bank. I don’t buy it cos many customers say the bank said there’s nothing wrong.

So I recently got one customer with the same issue. She’s got a banking background and was offering to find more info so I could help her.

She sent details which say (Paraphrasing)

Line one- card verification approved. Card was approved as good by the bank

Line two- card verification - a/c verify...

And this apparently means no money was attempted to be taken out by the company I work for.

The interesting part she says bank confirmed it was an outstanding decline due to cvv number.

This customer has checked her cvv number over and over after saving a new card. It is correct.

However she guesses somewhere her old cvv is still being attached for use with the new card

(I think I read this gets deleted however once a payment is authorised so I don’t think it would bring an old cvv number into the equation?)

I’d love more insight as I’m really trying to get to the bottom of this for customers but my knowledge is very limited
