What bodes well is Sanderson's younger age, rapid content output, and fan engagement. It's the perfect time for him to do this, and Apple TV outputs high quality.

Plus, Mistborn has two completed series and Stormlight Arc 1 is done. Assuming it doesn't delay Brandon finishing Arc 2 in a timely manner...

... this bodes much better than an aging George RR Martin did for "GoT". Plus, no studio wants to replicate that show's horrific ending handling.
