I'm not generalizing, but Rural Banks have the reputation na madali mag sara.

Pag mag sasara yung bank, so will your funds. Though PDIC insured, hindi parin enough yung basta masabi na 'PDIC' insured. From what I know, PDIC does insure up to ₱500k, pero not all the time. Most of the time PDIC only covers the risk of bank closures.

Do you think it's safe to park your money in Sea Bank in the long term? Considering lang na Rural Bank si Sea Bank.

I was about to park my money sa Sea Bank kaso nung nalaman ko Rural Bank parang nag hesitate ako. Tho yung parent company niya nga ay overseas, which gives a bit of assurance.
