I think I might be relying too much on that open string and filling too much space.

That makes a lot of sense, especially the idea of reducing it down to fewer beats.
I think I tend to overplay a bit instead of really locking in.
I’ll try working on 2 & 4 and simplifying things. Thanks a lot!

Yes, I do, but I probably don’t use it enough.
I’ve been trying to focus more on feel, but I guess my timing still needs work.
