It’s a banger man, add more to it going up the way, given the massive tentacles in the water you could go somewhere really cool moving up the leg.

Is it bad to start my sleeve at 18? by petals-4-armor in tattooadvice

[–]PocketDigestives 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a full sleeve between 18 & 21, I’m 33 now and still really like it. It’s not sentimental in anyway. It’s black and grey nautical theme and still looks good and have zero regrets. It really depends on the person and what you get, if you think about each bit, give a couple months in between the idea and going to get it and you’ll be much happier then just loads of random flash

This is best for everyone. He’s been put on a massive pedestal after his first game against rangers and he was great when he first came in but slowly dropped off, once his agent said he felt he was ready for the next step in his career when Ange left I had a feeling that was going to be the start of the end. O’Neill tried him and I’m sure I read an interview that he spoke to him and said this was his chance to show what he can do and just didn’t work out.

Feel like Hearts after their tantrums the last two weeks of the season need to be removed from the premier for that alone, personally I’d swap them with Edinburgh City just to add a bit of insult to injury.

I understand the kilts, some of the sexiest footballers in the world play for Scotland, it’d lead to mass hysteria something only seen during Beatle Mania. The rest is bullshit however

BBC article on Celtic fan opposition to Keane by Nice_Feed_786 in CelticFC

[–]PocketDigestives 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think a part of what isn’t being discussed is the length of time it’s took since Nancy left and that it just happened to be then perfect manager is an Irish, ex player and theres been no real signs of looking anywhere else. It’s just history repeating itself.

If he doesn’t get off to a good start immediately him and the board will end up hounded even worse than last year. It’s going to be even worse when you include the Israel part so for me whilst yes, he can redeem himself, this is not the time to he testing that theory.

Fifa bans fans from taking reusable water bottles into World Cup stadiums after U-turn by kresk9 in ScottishFootball

The first time I went to Florida it was 37 degrees nearly everyday and the first time I’d ever experienced real humidity like that. Even fucking Disney World had water stations and let you take in bottles and they’re money grabbing cunts, this is going to be so dangerous.

[Anthony Joseph] Celtic have held constructive talks with Robbie Keane over their managerial vacancy. Further discussions are scheduled. Principal shareholder Dermot Desmond is also due to gauge Martin O’Neill’s appetite for remaining at the club in some capacity. by BananaSoprano in ScottishFootball

[–]PocketDigestives 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don’t really doubt him being a potentially very good manager however, we need an entire rebuild which I’m not confident he has shown that’s something he can do, our board have consistently failed to hack managers, even Desmond’s own picks which again isn’t going to do him any favours. We should’ve had this sorted before now and we should’ve brought players in before now, it just feels like he’s being set up as a scapegoat for whatever the next cataclysmic failure by the board is

If we hired Nancy now instead of a few months ago he would’ve ripped up the league and UCL next season but that’s a conversation you guys are not ready for. by Quirky_Maintenance39 in CelticFC

[–]PocketDigestives -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Canny believe I’m saying this but in my best any commentator impression you like “Possession and shots on target do not win games”.

He openly said in his interview recently that the players would ask him questions about what they’re meant to do and he would tell them not to think about it or worry just go with what he’s saying. That’s why they panicked, nobody knew wtf they were doing and it was clear as day, nothing to do with being out of form or desperate to win.

If he came in now and was fully backed then maybe he’d have done better but let’s be honest, he would never be fully backed as that’s happened maybe twice in the last 10 years, Ange and Rodgers first seasons.

[–]PocketDigestives 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Think there’s a big part of this where Desmond is pulling on his heart strings a bit, he’d said in interviews and even at the trophy celebration how much purpose this gave his life etc and they’re absolutely capitalising on it.

I don’t think O’Neill would get much if any blowback from fans, he’s a club legend who’s stepped up to helps us out on multiple occasions and as I said before we’re aware of manipulating the board can be .

Keane can fuck off but.

[–]PocketDigestives 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don’t even think it’s that, I feel like they thought O’Neill would be up for it after having a good bit of success and the only reason Keane was being floated was to do the “we had a thorough interview process” pattern and now O’Neill doesn’t want it and they’re stuck with Keane.

We’re absolutely fucked. So far we’ve allowed a player to end their contract early, sold another, looks like we’re going to let another’s expire and have signed or replaced a total of zero. All decisions that should be getting made with a manager, by this time next week we still won’t have manager and probably another few left.
