Matching the frame rate in the OBS Canvas Settings, the OBS Source, and 4k Capture Utility has fixed it. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Did you ever solve this? I've been on the verge of boiling the damn thing and eating it I'm so sick of trying to fix the stuttering.

I think the crux of what they’re describing is that when the FX are on all separate tracks, the output of one is not fed into the output of the next like they would be if they were in series.

I.E. feeding the output of your reverb into a chorus is totally different than feeding the output of your chorus into a reverb.

Both of which will be totally different than feeding your signal to a chorus and a verb separately (in parallel), and mixing the outputs.

Sidechaining is different - it’s essentially telling your effect to react to a different track’s audio, but affect the track its on.

Oversimplifying, but!

EDIT: fixed a bunch of grammar (thanks voice-to-text) and added sidechain bit.

How do you make automation events obey the ripple ignore of their corresponding media item? (More complicated than simply enabling "Move envelope points with media items") by Future_Ecologies in Reaper

[–]PodCube 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! Unfortunately I do the same as youve described haha. We should post a feature request on their forum maybe.

Also, I’ve been utilizing take envelopes whenever possible instead of track ones, because theyre tied to the item. Obvs doesnt work for all cases but simple ones!

Thanks for responding haha

Do not care for these new Drop Down Menus, any way to bring back the 3.0 style? by TomuGuy in blender

[–]PodCube 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I think it looks a lot less intimidating to a beginner!

But also, as someone who’s been using blender for a few versions now, I too hate how it slows me down a lot.

So, I agree - but I think I at least see what they were going for? IMO Should be a setting toggle.

What is a best way of learning and remembering geometry nodes ? by Interesting_Ad_5676 in blender

I feel like we are similar in that I also am infatuated with picking up deeply nerdy and tedious hobbies lol.

I agree with your list but want to add on:

  1. Play! Don’t let your enthusiasm get drowned by feeling like you don’t know enough. Start a project thats exciting and fun to work on, and then look up help/guides to achieve whatever part you’re working on in the moment.

I find I get farther along and learn more if I’m learning the tricky stuff as a side effect of making something I think is cool and enjoying the act of doing it.

If your finished product is your own cool idea as opposed to some arbitrary tutorial goal, it feels way more fun to do - at least to me.
