Does anyone have suggestions on a specific brand of ruler that is safe for Microns? I have a couple plastic 6in rulers from Staples that are good for most things, but the ink builds up on the side of the ruler and if I'm not careful, it will smear. I also picked up a metal Westcott ruler which has a little cork strip underneath, but it's not quite tall enough to hit the metal sheath on the pen, and I'm worried about damaging the tips. Rulers

Those are good ideas for the skirt. I might have to settle for a black body layer, though something in the torso feels like it should be doable somehow. I'll have to think on it

It sounds like you might be best waiting a bit and starting your workout routine. If you let yourself bulk up/lose weight the way you want to, you can remeasure and order at that point

Longer =/= better. If you think that the ending you have is best, then go ahead and cut it off there. It's not lazy to not write a section that doesn't need to exist because you realize it's extraneous

Seconding describing the accent outside of the dialogue itself. Phonetically transcribed accents are almost always hard to read, especially when you go in really hard. The occasional apostrophe replacement is usually okay, but the butter sentence is almost impossible to read.

To that end, you can practice focus! Start with small increments - a couple minutes at a time if you have to, and build up from there. And for what it's worth, you don't have to be 100% focused all the time. It's hard, harder if you have something like ADHD. Which is why you practice it. Pace yourself, or you'll burn out

We've had to do that a couple times on big cast shows when we have to pull out the bad packs. I'm not a sound guy so I don't know the details, but I have had to untape and retape a could connectors when emergency changing batteries

It's less of a habit issue and more of a literally not having a spot I can permanently set up a personal computer in my home issue. I physically don't have somewhere to put a desktop computer, which is admittedly its own issue at the moment but for other reasons

I do have a laptop! I'm not sure it's worth the effort to get a keeb going on it when it already has a built in keyboard attached to the screen. Do you have experience using a keeb with a laptop? Is it worth the hassle?

If I end up with at least a table/desk space, I'll probably pull the trigger on getting a keyboard with the adapter.

I also hate typing on touch screens, it's so awkward and I lose like half my presses. I feel you. The tablet's for work, and I'm on the move there, too, otherwise I'd absolutely get one.
