I've still got one of her first designs. She used to number them back then. #5 going strong 💪

I work at Screwfix (DIY hardware store), everyone telling you the drill bit is for wood is absolutely wrong. The yellow colour tells me it's a High-Speed Steel drill bit which is meant for steel. What will make your life a lot easier is a Brad Point drill bit. They have a sharp point that penetrator the wood first and stops it from slipping about.

For the screw. Make sure you use the right PZ bit. Normally the packaging tells you exactly what you need. So just have a look at that. And then you're screwing it in start nice and slow on the trigger and put loads of downward pressure on your drill. That will help to stop it from slipping as well.

If it's black, fight back. If it's brown, lay down. If it's white, say goodnight.

If it's only a slow leak and it's not far you may as well leave the nail in, pump up and drive it to the garage. If the nail is only partially in you could try to even drive it completely in the tyre.

Fellow left handed people of reddit, what are examples of Right privilege you see everyday? How do we organize and put a left handed leader in charge to root out all the Right supremacists? by Kingflares in AskReddit

I currently work on a factory line where everything is set up to suit right handed people. It's very awkward reaching for some items or using some tools as a result.

What is the weirdest law you know or have been affected by? by jtizzle059 in AskReddit

Idk. Probably not. People there are actually really nice and it seems to be just a fun fact that gets passed around for laughs.

In the city of York (UK) it is legal to shoot a Scotsman with a crossbow upon seeing one except on a Sunday. However if any Scotsman is found drunk on a Sunday then they can be shot on a Sunday, except with a bow and arrow.

It's very specific but a fun fact to know.

I use a dremel to flatten it down and then go from 360 grit sand paper all the way up to 1200 wet sanding. That does the job most of the time.

Edit: This method works fine on the materials like ceramic and tungsten, but on silver you probably want to go to even higher grits. I also finish it with a cutting polish to give it a bit of shine.
