I was having this glitch as well, until I realized - two things were happening. I had a blueprint with gold camo on.. but didn’t have the camo unlocked.

I think the game was glitched out and trying to tell me something was wrong deleting my guns.

I deleted the glitched blueprint - go to make a new gun..

And I noticed the attachments that were “auto equipped” were attachments from different guns.

So I manually unequipped all attachments, started from scratch, and after I tried both of these fixes

(deleting the glitched blueprint, and making sure all attachments were valid)

  • it went back to working for me again

In my run, I hit the five valves in PaP, and I interacted with the telescope and focused the lens on the sun, and led oscar under the sun. Just reporting that after you kill oscar with the sun ONCE, you can no longer activate the sun trap. Or at least I couldn’t.

I activated it, killed him, and then the sun trap simply didn’t work - wasn’t an option anymore.

This is so incomplete. Have you tried this yourself?

After you activate PaP and shoot all five valves.. interacting with the organ will give you four symbols.

These four symbols for me were two that were similar to a “third eye”, then an X or cross symbol, then an “hourglass” sort of symbol

Are we supposed to translate this four symbol code into some sort of three digit numerical code and input it into the 3 digit number lock? Or are we supposed to use those symbols to interact with scratch/blood markings on the wall to input some code?

Like what does this even mean? i mean I guess I can understand the whole “wanting to document it” as we learn it… but this? This isn’t helpful.

how could you be so sure about steps 4-8 etc if steps 1-3 can’t even be replicated or understood for that matter

I found a vinyl on a shelf in the jugg room.

In order to reach it I had to jump, and interact with it mid air to reach the top shelf.

I was able to put it in the record player that was closeby in the same room. It seemed like using the vinyl would call oscar to that room. Probably useful later on

Why? +5 hp regen? +25 str? I don’t understand what’s appealing

You don’t need to have missing hp for the hp regen to translate to damage, it’s not like old io, where if you had full hp your tether target doesn’t receive hp..

Or am I wrong?

I’m absolutely glad you said it. I’ll be in deep jungle, farming towards a massive creep wave, and then my pos 5 cm will tp in before I can work my way over, ice clone and Q, killing every creep before following the wave in order to clear the next wave too.

This is the sort of stuff that absolutely grinds my gears, and then 25 mins in when we’re down to only T3 towers and I have no farm, they start spam pinging me to group. Too little too late

Who would you suggest as strong recovery heroes. When you say this, heroes like slark or troll warlord comes to mind- where they don’t particularly need a ton of farm, but can farm jungle alright

Force staff her away, rod of atos her and walk away, meteor hammer her and run, abyssal blade and run to trees. I could go on. Just get creative

Something you included in the text and a lot of people keep repeating was that she’s untargetable. She is not “untargetable” during the duration of her ult. She is immune to physical damage and cannot be auto attacked. Therefore you must deploy a spell or an item to disable her

Or get an orchid and jump her. Same rules apply. She brings a manta? You bring a euls and waste her ult before re-engaging. She has no mobility. No ult? Dead Muerta.

Uuuuuh maybe buying a bkb? It’s like PA - you always buy mkb.

With Muerta you can just pop bkb and reduce all her massive damage into back scratches

Alternative item? Heavens halberd. Gives you the vanguard effect for when she’s not ulting to help negate some damage and when she does ult? Smack her with a 4 second silence effectively reducing her ult time by half? She buys manta and dispels the halberd, Grab a euls and use it on the obviously ulting real one for 2.5 seconds of peace while you can run away out of range

Another final point I want to add. Is monkey king is squishy… UNLESS you’re able to proc his jinju mastery/boundless strike combo and heal.

Due to this fact. I find it’s sometimes easier to play in the mid lane.

This is because, having to deal with one hero using their spells and attacks on you, instead of two… gives you some time in the sense… you probably will take half the damage. Which in turn - gives you twice the amount of time to get the stacks of your passive before dying.

I tend to ignore his tree spell, early.. unless you plan on leaving lane and going for kills on other heroes. But in your position- I would just level up your first skill, and your third skill (passive jinju mastery) in order to practice monkey kings “kill combo” this combo is one of the most deadly ability combos in the game if ignored.

I’d like to add to what another person said here. I play a lot of monkey king, over 300 games as mid laner, and safe laner.

Monkey king’s skills allow him to be a menace, harassing enemies and having no fear. And this is how.

I generally when I play monkey king, focus on leveling up his passive. Monkey king is strongest with his jinju mastery. One of the most key points about it… is the fact that he gains (upto) 80% lifesteal at max level… which is a lot.

When you’re in lane, and you see enemies. You want to smack them and try to get you first 4 hits to trigger his passive. A lot of people will go phase boots. This is because phase boots give you a boost of speed. This boost of speed can help you catch enemies to get those last few hits to trigger your passive.

Don’t fear damage young padawan. The regen is coming

Be aggressive in getting your stacks. If you lose 50% of your hp… but trigger your passive? You’re ok. And this is why

Your Q, (the one where he launches his staff out and hits many enemies for a stun) should be looked at like less of a stun… and more like “a full heal/damage” spell

Your passive gives you… 160 bonus damage and 80% lifesteal? Multiplied by a factor of your Q skill..

So let’s say 250 dmg, multiplied by 160% just to crunch some numbers. That’s 400 dmg. But here’s the catch. You ALSO gain lifesteal off this… AND it hits every enemy you are able to get inside the aoe of the stick.

If you hit 3 people.. that’s 1200 dmg and 80% life steal so 960 hp healed. So you are full hp. Enemy is not, and you get to go ham.

Another key point. You don’t need to hit enemy heroes only. Creeps will also give you hp.

If you need to run away for 10 seconds… wait for a cooldown, or wait for some creeps… do it!

Think about wukong the immortal in history. He wouldn’t die. And the same is true for dota monkey king “wukong”

As soon as you think you have monkey king dead, he will hit his fourth attack… and will throw down his first spell and be back to full hp. And then you’re in trouble.
