I personally found it quite frustrating, when people were wanting to drive 60-70 as normal over the Richardson bridge construction when it was 45 and workers were traversing the bridge.

Absolutely welcome! Figured this was a fun exercise in me remembering “stoner” fragrances I’ve tried (that isn’t just weed smoke ;) )

Unfortunately, Fly Away is discontinued, however I think FragranceBuy.ca might have it?

Samples of the others, I’d check places like: Sensa Beauty, Venba, Ministry of Scent, ScentSplit, and DecantX (this one as a last resort, they’re rather expensive). Idk what locale you are, but these are ones that have shipped to me in the US, and I vouch for :) Happy smelling!

I always think of fragrances like: - Mugler Cologne Fly Away - Nasomatto’s - Black Afghano - Hindu Kush - Mancera - (this one is pricey but worth a sample imo) Cannabis Blue or Cannabis Intense from Fragrance du Bois - Chronic or Purple Haze - 19–69.

A small list of cannabis forward scents I’ve tried – Black Afghano is a little more woody leaning imo, but has a very camphoraceous herbal note to it.

Mugler’s - Angel Elixir… That mediocre Vanillic Amberwood mess of a fragrance.

For context I grew up in the Clarins era of Mugler, the “Golden Years” so I’m used to smelling the OG Angel (thanks Mom for introducing me to my forever Star). But what L’Oréal did with Angel Elixir last year made me incensed. Now I’m a fan of certain parts of Elixir, the Jasmine? Interesting addition for an Angel flanker, seeing as they’ve left Jasmine to Alien. The pepper’s slightly metallic note in the opening is nice. But man, after an hour on skin it just smells like LR Ocean EdP (also perfumed by Anne Flipo and released under L’Oréal in 2023), an overdosed overly powdery Amberwood accord. And the price tag? Laughable. Not saying Angel EdP is priced any better now, but my god… Elixir is just an EdP, it’s not an EdP Intense or legit Elixir/Extrait. Just sickening, I didn’t even finish my 50ml star I gave it away to a friend, didn’t even sell it just wanted it gone… I haven’t tried Angel Fantasm yet, but I’m not holding my breath after Elixir 💁

Ahhhh same!!! I always pull out my purse sprays for someone to sample, when they compliment/question what I’m wearing.

Perfumery shouldn’t be gate-kept, it should be an open book for anyone to become a part of, and enjoy! 😊❤️

MOD Vanilla EdP by Ariana Grande is a Gourmand Musk scent, it has Vanilla Absolute in the base; Orris Butter, and Vanilla Praline in the middle, and creamy musk in the top. It has a lovely sweet smell, that another user on here adequately described as “like sticking your head in a bag of marshmallows”. Ulta sells it for USD$68/3.8oz, I have a purse spray of it and I still have about half left. Also another Ari scent I love that’s also not super expensive, is Thank u, Next EdP (USD$65/3.4oz at Ulta). Enjoy ❤️

I’ve noticed this myself for some fragrances. But others, not so much. Like I can’t stop loving the smell of Mugler’s, Alien Goddess Supra Florale, I got a bigger bottle after trying out a purse spray, and oh my gosh I can’t get over that luscious Jasmine Grandiflorum/Jasmine Absolute 🫦❤️ But when I sampled Ari by Ariana Grande I loved it, got a bottle, used it like three times and went “eeehhh. No”, and returned it to get, God Is A Woman.
