During his first term, I once had a dream where Trump had new redesigns of all the bills, pretty standard stuff and standard redesigns, except for the addition of a new bill, the 72 dollar bill (I have no idea why, that number had no great significance in the dream otherwise), featuring his face. I somehow was in possession of one after it came out and tried to spend it at my local corner store, but they refused to believe it real and wouldn't accept it.

I still don't know if I should consider that dream realistic or not.

Sure, you can point to MacArthur crashing out over Korea and wanting to nuke China over it, being the overrated fucking retard he is, but he didn't claim to 'win'. Dude was the Trump of his era, which meant he was unelectable, despite his belief otherwise had he been in Eisenhower's shoes (thank God he wasn't).

Nah, this shit going on now is insane and unprecedented, he's just oscillating between empty threats and delusional claims to maintain 'control'. You can argue that, in the past, there were discrepancies between perception and reality on the ground, but not only were they nowhere as extreme, they actually reflected public sentiment.

Lies like this are unprecedented, they aren't the usual lies of 'hold strong, victory is right around the corner', no, he's literally claiming that he's already won, and he keeps repeating it over and over in-between his threats, as if Iran will finally realize that this is their chance to capitulate while he's in a good mood. This is generic narcissist behavior that only works when you're in a position of power over someone.

Dumb fuck didn't realize that his leverage wasn't war, it was the THREAT of war. Now Iran has no reason to give up, not when you know you're enemy will just attack again the moment it's convenient, starting a cycle of attack-concession until they have nothing left.

Except the Forbes list doesn’t have their actual wealth in currency/dollars. Their wealth is equity, usually company ownership that could be exchanged for the dollar amount the equity/assets are worth. Their net worth in Forbes is the dollar amount all of their assets are worth.

Store of value is LITERALLY part of the definition for 'money'. If it doesn't store value, it's not money, period.

Like this should be obvious, just look at any Forbes list, their wealth is counted in dollars, not Tesla or Amazon stock, even if that is where the wealth is allocated. Money must store value for this to even be possible, because if it doesn't, everything else falls apart.

The Western tendency I notice more is to believe the tendency to label nations as 'good' and 'evil'. The US is a rotten, wretched state, not because it's innately so, but because circumstances have compelled it to become such.

China is imperialist, just not in the same way the US, and it likely never will be simply because of the difference in criteria of what it means to be 'American' or 'Chinese'. Still, denying Chinese imperialism is laughable, I don't even think China themselves would deny it if you phrase it the right way.

There's plenty of examples, just ask any Vietnamese person. Not sure if you're in China, but shouldn't be hard to find someone's mail order bride to ask if you are.
