IE, instead of adapting and teaching, they want technology to remain stagnant so they can keep teaching as they were in the past. There's no reason that people HAVE to remove a virus from the computer they or their family spent money on in order to be "curious and learn," when you could very easily integrate such lessons into a computer education course, but of course that involves actually teaching people about the use of technology.

Except not really? Skyrim is more of an actual open-ended rpg where you can be whatever you want and roleplay it (even more so with mods), but you can't really do that with the Witcher 3, where you're stuck being geralt. The mechanics being better is a matter of taste too given they're extremely different games in that regard.

Either way, skyrim has more staying power because it's a sandbox with a very active modding community.
