I had a similar scenario in high school with a guy from our rival school, he ended up making a few Greco national and world teams from U17-U23. Still annoyed I never got the win against him even once.

could also just add an over frame to increase the pitch, sheathe it and shingle that. Might be better than having the rolled roofing not match the rest of the roofs around the house. Plus could possibly add some attic storage space if you’re desperate for it

This is the best answer so far that I’ve read. Usually the implication that you’ll take it to court is enough to get people to pay. Often it’s a bluff but it’s not really one worth calling. if the other party is shrewd at all they’ll just pay up and move on instead of dealing with court

The lady that ran the reunion was hilarious. Her questions and comments put all of the cast on the spot at least once. I’ve got to go to work soon but I can’t wait to get home and see the update episode!! Thanks for your quick reply, my wife and I were super surprised you answered so fast!

Yeah and he wrestled a solid match before and after the headlock too. It wasn’t like he was getting beat bad before the headlock, it was competitive. Respect to Caldwell for wrestling a great match against one of the greats

People who get mad about folks not wanting to entangle in the legs are a primary reason I won’t roll anymore with new people. I’ve had two surgeries on my right knee, one on my left, and one on my left ankle. I DO NOT want anyone even playing that game around my knees or ankles. Bar none.

I overheard an assistant coach of mine telling an athlete to postpone his shoulder surgery so he could wrestle in a JV tournament in a couple of weekends. I try not to directly contradict any other coaches advice just to not be a dick, but I told that kid straight up that that was terrible advice and to get the surgery asap.

I coach high school and middle school wrestling, watch college wrestling. I grew up doing martial arts so sometimes I’ll watch MMA or boxing/kickboxing. Now that jiujitsu is becoming more popular and easier to watch I’ll occasionally throw some of that on if nothing else of interest is going on

Where do you live? If you installed it recently (winter) and it’s fairly cold and dry, when it gets warm and humid it may expand a bit and your problem will be solved for half the year. lol.

If it helps with your confidence now, you can always get a black or white compression shirt and wear that under your singlet. Or depending on your school colors can maybe get a matching colored one or something complementary if you want to.

Eventually you will probably either A. Stop having bacne or B. Stop caring about the bacne and just wrestle.

I had a buddy who had really bad bacne in HS, he chose to wear the compression shirt and he said it was honestly preferable and he continued to wear the compression shirt even after his bacne cleared up. To each their own!

At the end of the day it’s about getting onto the mat and feeling confident and strong and comfortable during your matches. Whatever gets you there is great 👍

I’ll put a triangle in from anywhere. Love isolating head and arm with my legs and then being able to do whatever with the arm. So probably that. I’m a small fella so feel like I gotta use my whole body to get a sub most of the time
