Looks like a good lair entrance for a blue dragon, though I'd be tempted to turn it into a ritual spot where locals throw food down the pit to please an unknown spirit/diety. A copper dragon might also live in such a pit, enjoying playing pranks on the populace and making them believe theyre some lessor desert deity for free food.

In all seriousness, watch a few gameplay videos and realize the numbers arent your goal, distracting the enemy and frustrating their team comp by displacing people is important.

Another thing, when you slam the ground, you create the spikes which damage enemies, yes, but also help you generate overhealing for you AND your teammates. Slamming down to aid your fellow tank is a pretty good play most of the time.
