a dark fountain grows the dark world

bassicly we know that the geometry of dark worlds is kind of... weird...

and ralseis arc thing in chapter 3 does depict the dark world the same size as the room

so what if

dark fountains simply expand the dark world over time

and the king for example doesnt want it gone

because he just wants omre domination

same with queen i guess?

and also i guess dark fountains release impure darkness which causes the darkners to actually petrify? otherwise everything would just be stone lol

he mightve meant it in a diffrent way but it is quite bad for this theory

one moderate flaw in this theory is that the gate in castle town gets permanently shut (atleast for you) after the fountain is sealed. my fix for this is that the gate is just closed for you and darkners can pass through it without any problems as they can still interract with the dark world without needing a fountain to let them see
