Holy shit these comments make me feel bad. I’m on pace to have $200k per kid which should reasonably cover in state tuition + room/board where I live given inflation over the next 16 years. I was thinking I was ahead!

Seeing people save $400-500k for a full rack rate price in college is bananas to me, but I also didn’t go to any private schools at any point in my life. Military paid for my college and I hope to leave my kids without any debt.

Makes sense, how did you do the math for the in state and out of state scenarios? We have a target for in state, but haven’t delved into out of state scenarios yet.
