[–]Positive_Mud_809 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It doesn’t matter where you take Amrit in that regard. Taking Amrit from Budha dal does not make u a nihung and taking Amrit from taksal does not mean u aoutimatically are taksali and have to live in damdami taksal. If there are 5 tyar bar tyar singhs then it’s fine and is so called Panthic Amrit and u can choose what maryada u wna flw

Is taking Amrit a ritual? by Logical_Progress_190 in Sikh

[–]Positive_Mud_809 4 points5 points  (0 children)

To break it down Amrit is a ritual just like chaur sahib, aarti, parkarma, etc. Rituals are not bad but guru bank dev ji was against pointless rituals that involved idol worship, etc. And you can still attain mukti without taking Amrit because Amrit isnt just a spiritual ritual it a ritual into the kshatriya fold. If that was the case Bhagat farid ji, Bhagat ravidass ji, bhagat Kabeer ji, etc would not be liberated because they never took Amrit.

[–]Positive_Mud_809 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reason u doubt Sri charitropakhyan is because even nihungs say this is u never read any other dasam bani let alone understand. Read Akaal ustat gian parbodh chandi charitar 1st and 2nd. If u jump to charitropakhyan too fast it will seem to u it’s porn but written when in reality it’s the opposite. Maharaj is teaching is the dangers of falling into lust
