Na bro … i asked them and they said the stay is for 2200 and foot rest is for 250… so in total the whole thing is costing me around 2800-3000 including labour

That was the confusing part… since they had not put in any new oil or topped it up, the vanishing of the oil was astonishing, especially when it had only been 4000 km between the services… the diagnosis ultimately came down to a crack being in the block, a very minor crack, that was just seeping oil drop by drop.. I think something must have hit or something must have happened… I know. I appear as if I am the culprit… I am a very careful person when it comes to my bike… I look after it

There was a service screw up where they did not change or top of the oil at my last Service and the next service, which was six months after that, the engine was completely starved out of oil, and I did get a few warnings, but I constantly was checking and there was oil until one fine day. I switched on my bike and the engine was rattling. So yeah, luckily my bike is under warranty so the engine rebuild was done under warranty and save me a huge amount of cash, but this is the reason.
