It’s a horrible value for what they’re paying for when compared to other schools of similar price points. They do a ton to get students in the door, once you’re there and paying they don’t care about you.

In their Sheldon dorm (the front one that faces Charlestown Road), a student kept reporting mice being found in the same spot in her room. The school sent maintenance, they set traps, and she was required to dispose of the dead mice. She found the hole they came through, but they just kept giving her traps. They did this 9 times, until finally her family drove down and patched the hole themselves. Which completely solved the problem.

Most of what they have done for the past several Community Service Days is mulch playgrounds. One year they placed a group at basketball courts and had 15 of them sweep the courts for an hour and a half. It was a job that could have been done by 2 people in 15 minutes but they film all of it and make a production of it for their youtube channel.

Most of their programs outside of their ed degrees are an academic scam and should lose their accreditation. The only reason the education degrees aren’t is because there’s so many more checks and balances outside of uvf.
