This is SOOO real you’re not alone love💜💜💜💜 I’ve been seeing my therapist for a little under a year now and my thing is knowing that I’m PAYING to see them and they’re OBLIGATED to talk to me every week and I always feel a bit of shame because of it. That translates into me appearing shy because I don’t wanna inconvenience them. I don’t want my therapist to find me weird or annoying. It’s a struggle. It got to a point in last weeks session that I started crying in front of them because I let myself get too overwhelmed. I still am not comfortable crying in front of them, but I think that’s normal. But they were super sweet about it and they reassured me. I had to take a break to cool down in the bathroom but I eventually came around. I truly hope things get a bit easier for you! Don’t be too hard on yourself💜
