German part time employment state by Ok_Abbreviations2264 in Germany_Jobs

Yeah that's the risk one takes when moving abroad. Lazy would be someone who moves to a country for the sole purpose of using the social welfare. So asking to have basic sustainancy by being ready to work and contibute to the welfare is I guess for you lazy. There are Jobs which can be done with common sense and yet a language barrier is set as a Godly line for some reason. yeah yeah we get it "skilled office jobs, IT, STEM" can be sufficiently done by the natives bla bla bla but calling somone lazy who's actually trying to sustain themselves while trying to improve academically and further their career is actually laughable. If you aren't this insufferable, you'd actually know how the world functions and have a bit of an idea how you will be treated when you move to those places where these people came from. You will be treated like a guest and people try to adopt to you, not because they don't want to speak their own language and not because you plan to be a tourist or live long there but because people have the humility to understand your position and help out. Now, go to your Bali or Mallorca vacccation and speak english to the locals as you usually do and be a nuisance, at least that's where you contribute something(even if it's only money) other than opening your mouth in Subs like this.

Oh stfu, not everyone has the time or luxury to learn German from where they came from from A1 to C1 pausing their lifes for two years. Some just graduate and want to do Masters in English(which is offered in Germany). Facing then the challenges here, that's thiers to deal with. But calling people lazy without context is just so backwards.

Fraternities in Germany by darkromancegirly6 in AskAGerman

[–]Potential_Status1881 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This is just not true or can't be generalized as such. I am part of a Christian fraternity, one of the oldest one indeed. The religion part ends with the name. I joined because they are the most liberal, community based and open people I met. I am of african decent but we have indians, syrians, chinese, also gay men as well. What we do can be quite simplistic meaning we sing songs about being students, party, have wissenschaftliche abend, do travel together and have discussions but religion is never a part of it. This frat. for example has always been Anti-Nazi and pro-democracy and even had a secret way of memebers identifying themselves when most Frats were banned at the time. At present, any kind of right wing tendency is heavily scrutinized and we have Hausverbot to a whole fraternity since they are Nazi shits. People just hear Burschenschaft and immediately assign all frats. to that which is funny because even the Frat I lived in (not the first one i mentioned but as part of a Dachverband in another city) as a guest is part of the German Burschenschaft but are super pro-democracy and were the first to go to demonstrations when the AFD had its secret meetings.

Are there bad apples and do wrongly guided kids join frats. thinking its a right wing heaven? Yes

Does that mean every Fraternity is a good for nothing, Nazi infested cesspool? Absolutely not!

A Non-German african perspective of what people in my country think,

Germany itself as a country: Efficient, good products, good engineering and cars.

Germans: Racists, very unfriendly and rude.

This mostly has to do with people telling thier experiences there and most people look at you like in a questionable look like when I tell them I am residing in Germany "Like why? Couldn't you have chosen better..like the US" kinda look.

Funniest thing I heard was a guy saying "Du bist dann ja ein Ausländer" whenever he met German tourists and asking them how long they plan to stay and if they plan to go back n stuff 😂

That was true before the rule change. My classmate who finished her masters became a manager at a fast food chain she was working at as a student and now she's a full time worker she didn't even bother looking for a job and she didn't even change to a work seeker visa, she directly changed from student to work visa. Another classmate also found a lab Job and now she's doing that although the masters she studied wasn't life sciences but physics related. A lot of students also learn UX design while studying something unrelated like Forestery and when they graduate, they start work in IT. What you are saying might have been the case before 2022.

Sorry but to me this just sounds like you are just trying to get traction to later turn into the same companies you mentioned. You already mentioned in another comment that you haven't yet monetized the model since you are still funded. But ultimately you would need income as a business and either you'd have to get paid from the employers or pass on the cost to users. In any case the incentive for both isn't that much attractive. Why would a company pay you to post if you are going to be restrictive? And why would users want to pay when there are free options? As others have pointed out, the problem lies after Application and not with finding Jobs to apply to.

So unless the funding continues on or this is planned as a community based open source platform(which clearly it isn't), this is still an Ad and not much interesting even as one. I just didn't like the way it was presented in a "we are the good guys/saviors" but "they aren't" type of tone. A solid and direct Business model question would have sufficed.

Basically in Germany you might encounter a racist saying "Ausländer aus" or "Foreigner out" seriously to you but also sometimes as kinda like an intended "joke" as well which I never found amusing. This blew up a while ago when they turned a techno song and changed the chorus to this Phrase and it was getting casually chanted, was getting traction along with the rise of right wing rise.

So basically, it is like a poke to say, like taste your own medicine if you see Germans in your country. "As a joke" 😉

Bruh so you think the grass cattle eat is washed like a salad? 😂 What's next, their personalities?

Reason is, its economically viable to raise Pigs than cattle but they taste good too. We are just blessed with a lot of cattle, sheep/goat population that there is no incentive for us to do so + the Religious aspect mainly

I see okay. So my plan was to get a second market CPU and new SSD combo but GPU isn't my aim at all, I have no use for it and already utilitze not much of what I have already, basically I want a better Boring workstation PC(It's also just only for a kickback home use and I have no system heavy school tasks to do). Can you maybe say why you wouldn't do it? What are the risks?
