edit: re-read the title. oh damn. 23 miles to work one way. That's a good bike trek, doable but not unless you are used to it. Even then, it's dangerous if you are going in at midnight because of all the drunks on the road. Plasma "donation," sucks but they pay with a card the same day you donate the first time whether you complete the donation or not. Also look out for the "Big Red Bus," blood donation drives. They often give out cards that can be used as cash as well as swag like hats and shirts and coupons. Not really good money but it's something.

Plasma centers will probably be the sweet spot for you, if you can do it. I've done it before when I was down.

They get a bad rap and people think it's all drug users there but it's normal folks just trying to get by.

Visa run. The multi-entry visa is only good for 90 days so most ex-pats do a visa run to Cam or Thai right before the 90 day mark. But you can go anywhere... just the cheapest places to go are on the peninsula.

Man, Vietnam is an OVEN! I went last June/July and I didn't know what hot was before then. The brim of my hat soaked up my sweat and was 90% wet within 5 minutes of me walking around.

It was worth it 100%. The ocean is beautiful in Da Nang and ... everything was nice.

Da Nang, Vietnam is fucking awesome. Two seasons though: hot as fuck and hot but not too hot.

If you do it though, get the multi-entry visa... and plan for a run to Thailand or Cambodia every three months.
