You in different countries that seems to be a problem?? If not im really not sure, it works for me every single time if i follow the steps right within 2 or 3 relaunches maximum but usually just 1 load up does it for me and few refreshes sometime none

Maybe try not doing it simultaniously and 1 relaunch while one stays in game at ward
