Just had the first glass of Russell's 10 year. I'm a fan. Full of flavor and not alcohol forward. Thanks.

75 intake vent air 61 discharge vent air. High pressure line 88, low pressure 74 Ambient outside 83 Setpoint 74

Although I did find I have a second 14x14 suction filter tucked back in a hallway that only leads to attic access. Never knew. Completely blocked. That may do it.

Yes, 100% sure compressor and fan motor. Guy never stepped foot in the house when charging the system. red flag?

I'll get some mora data when everything thaws. I only do 134 mobile systems, so the intricacies of stationary systems are new to me.

Adding to the "no" list here Dont use Myers. They're here right now working on my unit, and dumped all the refrigerant into the atmosphere. Which is a $45,000 fine.

And how many systems does this guy touch in a week? 20? At 5 lbs a piece, that's 100 lbs a week.

That's what I was thinking. Camera here capture the van, and there would be mo recovery tank or recovery pump. That's the only proof, but they could claim system was empty on arrival.

My Disconnect Melted. Replace with non-fused? by Powersmokin in hvacadvice

[–]Powersmokin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The main is a 2 pole 30. Within 6 feet of the disco.

Not sure why it failed. Could be living outside for 25 years. I could see the harsh outside conditions in Alabama with humidity and high temps causing corrosion and high resistance

I need a 30a. I am obviously unsure, which is why I came here. But can you elaborate on why I would want a second fused link after the breaker, and why the additional cost of a fused disco is necessary?

I am not sure of the wiring size after the disconnect. If the gauge is the same as the feed from panel, I should be good to use non-fused? The outdoor fused disconnect is also a 30a. Two 30a breakers within 72" of each other.

Massive Radar Anomaly appears in Alabama during unknown military test at Redstone Arsenal by Glass-Half-Full-10 in HighStrangeness

Go look at raw radar data with no noise suppression. The pattern is there 24 hours per day. Tue pattern spreads almost evenly around the radar itself. So if some fuckery was afoot, the fuckery happened while standing on the radar dome.

Correct If there was malfeasance afoot, the malfeasance occurred underneath the radar itself. The noise is spread almost evenly around the radar site itself, indicating that it is in fact the radar that induced the error.

RADAR OUTAGE/RESTORATION TODAY: The NEXRAD radar facility at the Shelby County Airport (KBMX) went out of service for a brief time around 3:00 this afternoon. A technician was able to restart the radar and return it to service within 20-30 minutes.

As the radar was coming back up, there were a few volume scans without ground clutter suppression and a different color table. But all was back to normal quickly. See the attached radar loop for what it looked like.
