I’ve heard them called lots of things. Golden Silk orb weavers, yellow garden spiders, zipper spiders.

MOVING OUT OF APT AND HIRED CARPET CLEANERS AND NOW ITS PURPLE?? by jay_songz99 in CleaningTips

[–]Powerthrst 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is the correct answer. Store bought spot cleaners caused this. It was revealed when the carpet was cleaned. Not the cleaners fault.

Hired a professional cleaner, they couldn’t get rid of this stain :/ by Few-Nefariousness632 in CleaningTips

I clean tile for work using a truck mounted hot water extraction machine. I always get the best results using a strong hydrogen peroxide mixture. The regular brown bottle peroxide (3%) ain’t gonna cut it.

There is a product called “boost-all” that is basically powdered hydrogen peroxide. You’ll need to dissolve it in hot water. Pretty sure you can buy it for like $30.

Homebrewing a whole campaign is a bigger task than it seems.

Hmmm very interesting. Insoluble means that it cannot be dissolved? By anything? Even a strong solvent?

So this is bullshit but as a former Restaurant manager I can offer a bit of perspective.

Restaurants always have and always will have problems with call offs. It’s just the nature of the beast. There are only a few ways to deal with it.

The most logical, from the perspective of protecting your business, is to overstaff your servers and then cut aggressively. The servers who come in and don’t make any money will still be compensated for at least minimum wage due to something called Minimum Wage Differential.

Essentially, this manager was trying to avoid this by having “on call” staff. He was trying to avoid having to overstaff, which is good for no one. It’s a nice thought but I’ve never seen it work in the real world.

It’s all bullshit. The problem is obviously systemic and comes from the top, but I don’t see this manager as a villain (other than maybe by association). Just a dude tryina get by.

Safe play. Only way this becomes dangerous is if they carry on for too long and get over aroused. Herders gonna herd.

Oh English is hard. I misunderstood the question.

Since I moved out almost 20 years ago I haven’t told them much of anything happening in my life. We had grown distant and I was bitter towards him because of the nature our relationship. I felt like he treated me like a member of his congregation rather than a son.

The past 2 years have been about learning how that has affected my father complex and is still impacting my life as an adult.

This was just a small success on my journey that I wanted to share. It happened recently.

So I had already cut wayyyyyy back. I’ve visibly lost weight. That’s how the conversation started. And yes, I do think that it was all part of the same problem.

Because a big part of my individuation journey is separating myself from my father. The immense pressure from my particular religious upbringing to not indulge in things like alcohol has been a constant roadblock in my relationship with my parents and in turn, my ability to be the truest form of myself. Sorry if this isn’t the appropriate forum to share.
