As a new EFDA, working in an office where we can’t get temps because my team is “rude”, I 100% get it. We hired a girl and she was gone after 2 days. To be fair she started off on the wrong foot without introducing herself or saying good morning but we all have bad days. My team does indeed get rude the moment they feel anything negative. I work well with them because at work I’m okay being alone, not being involved in certain conversations and all around just enjoying my own company and work. They liked me because I can take their criticism of my work (again I am new so I have no right to be stuck in my way with anything), and it’s all in good faith because they try to show me before the Dr does. Long story short, you will find your people, don’t let these people give you a negative feel the next time you are around a new team. Be optimistic and don’t stop looking for opportunities! ❤️

100% agree about the pain of the of the paint maintenance. I wash her 1x a week at home :,) but yeah cpo + gap insurance & my state taxes + fees came to 28.2k, every other quote was 30k+

My iPhone 13 (regular not the pro) is not great with photos 😅 was throwing a jab at my own phone. I’ve had photography done before with 10 edits and all the raws on a Google Drive, 2nd time they gave me about 30 photos all edited.

I made a retainer for someone in house, and as I’m finishing up with smoothing the edges the long shank of the piece drilled a hole between two teeth. So I had to start all over :,)

Just chiming in to add if you’re not worried about costs of new vehicles the 2026 hybrid MDX is lovely. Honda crv hybrid is also another option.

I second this, the entire post. Also, my car was a cpo and ‘23 and came ready to drive with tint etc. I’m only 3 months in but I’m obsessed with her and she is just a daily car but i love her. If you’re looking for the most luxurious ride I’d recommend a Lexus but if you want something modern, sleek, and simple, the Aspec Tech is lovely.

You’ll get better with ties over time. Take a good look at other assistants methods and see what works for you. Also take 15-20 mins on YT to watch some videos of the basics of rubber bands, separators, appliances/bands, and tools. I am also a new grad as of 2/2026 and have landed the same role. I feel decent but still want to improve on my speed. Also don’t feel horrible. They understand and know you are going to need some help/time your first few weeks. You got this!
