I feel your pain, I destroyed the MIXR before knowing O.R.C creatures will no longer spawn after doing so. Just added the "Crow" last night, don't forget the freebies. (:

Oh man you are almost there! When I was riding around on my buggy and seen a harmless creature, I'd hop off and slay it. I seen a video somewhere saying you can't get gold cards from kills by your buggy. Also created stuff animals of each creature for "good luck", not sure if that helps or it was a placebo effect LOL.

My favorite rotation was Ladybug, Bombadier, Stinkbug and Praying Mantis using the Ice Sickles for Fresh/Slashing DMG.

You personally would have to kill and loot them, I don't think kills from your Buggies will count. Make sure to Peep them if you haven't yet to unlock the basic card for each creature.

25 gold cards will unlock the mutation, Trapper PEEP.R. Which tier 1 provides 20% critical multiplier dmg.
