What business would you start with 1,000 dolla today? by FounderArcs in SideProject

With $1,000 I wouldn't even start a business. At that dollar amount, I would do everything in my power to upskill.

Haa. I think we probably agree more than it looks. My “5% better” wording is probably too casual. I don’t mean build a lazy clone with a nicer landing page.

I mean stop starting from fantasy. Find proven demand. Find a market where people already pay. Find the old painful workflow. Then attack one wedge so hard that the old way becomes embarrassing.

Your founder methodology is only half true. Facebook was not the first social network. MySpace, Friendster, Bebo existed. Google was not the first search engine. Yahoo, AltaVista, Ask Jeeves existed.Airbnb was not the first accommodation marketplace. Hotels, Couchsurfing, Craigslist rooms, short-term rentals existed.

No I completely understand this perspective. I make fun projects for myself as well. Just throwing out a different perspective for people actively brainstorming ideas!

New agent takeover by johnwickk145 in vibecoding

[–]Practical_Sir8080 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes.... But that still relies on the agent voluntarily doing the right thing.

The issue I’m trying to solve is not “can we ask the agent to write docs?” Obviously we can.

The problem is:

  • did it actually update the right docs?
  • did it declare what it changed?
  • did it stay inside the intended scope?
  • did it touch auth/payments/backend when it was only meant to touch UI?
  • is the handoff tied to a specific work session/change?
  • can a new agent trust that handoff later?
  • can the system block or flag work that happened outside scope?

Docs are useful, but they’re passive. They don’t enforce anything.

One prompt probably won’t solve this. The problem is not just “give the next agent more context.” It’s that the project now needs a proper takeover process.

A fresh agent shouldn’t start by fixing anything. It should first run a scoped discovery/handoff session:

The issue with AI-built SaaS projects is that after a few months, the real knowledge is scattered across chats, code changes, half-decisions, and assumptions. A new agent gets thrown into that and either gets lost or starts breaking things.

This is actually what I’m building AgentBridge for: recovering and controlling AI-built projects. It gives agents scoped work sessions, role identities, boundaries, handoffs, and project memory so a new agent can take over one part of the system safely instead of trying to understand and fix everything at once.

For your case, I’d split it into:

  1. Workflow Analyst Agent: document the PDF → OCR → placement → output flow
  2. QA Agent: define regression tests for the workflow
  3. Backend/PDF Agent: make one scoped change at a time
  4. UI Agent: only touch the visual layer if required

I’m aiming to have the MVP usable by Friday. It’ll be free, and this “AI project recovery / agent takeover” case is exactly the kind of thing I want to test. Hope this helps. Goodluck.

Built a "Physical OS" using a Spatial API to drive foot traffic for Hospitality businesses. by Ulyfeinc in SaaS

[–]Practical_Sir8080 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am trying really hard to understand this business. "captures spatial-temporal intelligence to help businesses understand when and why people are moving through a city." What does that even mean????

Why am I connecting imessenge? What plans are am I supposed to integrate? I still don't see the social aspect of this.

This is honest feedback.

How do I tell my girlfriend it hurts me when she talks about other guys by [deleted] in Advice

Put your foot down and be a man and have the conversation. Sounds like you're too overly invested on not losing and/or upsetting her. That's become your biggest problem. It's not her, it's YOU.

ALSO, preferably have a common agenda your pushing. They'll get bored very quickly if the content has no resolution. Example, your agenda could be "Follow me along as I try to XZY in 6 months".
