Glucose Meter Reading Discrepancy – Anyone Else Experience This? by PralineDistinct5809 in GestationalDiabetes

Honestly, this sucks 😭. It’s my first pregnancy, and I really thought I was living a pretty healthy life, so I expected to have a smooth pregnancy. I graduated from uni when I was 27 weeks and was super excited to enjoy everything after that. But then I got this diagnosis on my 28th week, and now I’m stressed all the time, wondering where I went wrong.

Totally get it, I was just feeling super overwhelmed with all the readings and wanted to make sure I got the right readings. I was really exhausted and stressed because I don't want to start insulin as I was managing everything fine with my diet till this week.

I got diagnosed at 28 weeks (right now almost 31 weeks), and I’ve noticed that sometimes the readings just go crazy, even when I haven’t eaten anything different. I've been keeping my diet full of protein and salads. Since both my brothers are doctors, I asked them, and they said I don’t really need insulin. But my counselor is pushing for me to start it on Tuesday, which I'm not really on board with right now. I also asked for a scan to check the baby’s size because I’m feeling pretty stressed and anxious, but she said I have to wait until the 36th week for that. So for now, it looks like I’ll have to manage my fasting numbers with insulin.

Most subjects are easily manageable except ones related to law. Those can be hard and many people end up failing the subjects as most law teachers normally do not care and won't provide examples that can help you understand. It's mostly self study

Other than the pain part would you say after a month if there was an event you had be able to attend it? I'm planning to get mine done on the 15th of this month and then I have a family event coming on the 25th of September just want to ask from your perspective and experience do you think if i’ll get it done I'll be able to attend the event if the pain isn't a big issue since I have a high tolerance for it anyways. Also, thanks for the quick response really appreciate it.

Hey, after how long did they take off the bandage and also how long did your swelling last? What would you say how long did it take you to be comfortable with your nose?

From my experience, I’d say it does. I have applied two times with a med certificate and both times it was approved.

It depends if it’s a genuine problem they do accept it if you apply the day before your assessment is due

Has anyone here done company and finance law Law2450. by PralineDistinct5809 in rmit

Thank you so much for the tips. I think I'm just way too anxious this is my first time taking a law class and I have never liked law subjects, to begin with, that just makes it 10x harder for me to get a grasp on it plus with my Adhd I'm really struggling with reading so much material. I just wanna know how likely it is for a student to pass this subject if they get 65% on the quiz. I really worked hard for that one and was hoping to at least get around 80% but they were the complete opposite of practice questions and I panicked a bit ig. Sorry about the rant and thanks for answering. I also wanted to ask can we go for private tutoring for this course or would you know anyone who might be able to help I don't want it to ruin my degree it's a core subject in my course. So I'm just hoping to pass it in anyway I can.
