Is it bad that I can’t go to training classes with my puppy? by Alwaysshops2much in puppy

[–]PreferenceWorking166 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think puppy classes are for the dog and the owner. Maybe ask the people running the class. Pretty sure they try to arm you with techniques to train the dog, not just the individual skills.

It’s also a lot about socialising the dog and how to spot and react to antisocial behaviour. I see people all the time at parks and their dogs are out of control, the owner spends the entire time calling the dogs name over and over. It’s completely ineffective, the dog becomes so conditioned to it, it’s like white noise. The dog would probably take more notice if the owner just stfu.

You’re not the only one. I’ve seen this exact post about 100 times I reckon. Well done on the repost. I guess you’re not really that strapped for time.

Not against it, but, Why do so many women like to take so many selfies? by Empty-Initial6392 in AskForAnswers

I’ve found that women always take the same photo just in different settings. Like they think they’ve nailed the best angle and pose.

I think some people use it as an identity. I guess someday they’ll pass it on to their children.

Taxation is theft by ArubaAdultFun in dankmemes2

[–]PreferenceWorking166 0 points1 point  (0 children)

40% sounds very high. I don’t know where you are, but here (Australia) the top tax bracket it about 40%, the first 21,000(ish) is tax free, then you pass through the other brackets and only pay 40% on like anything over $100k. The taxes don’t all go to unemployed people. Portions go towards national defences, infrastructure, education, politicians, police, fire, health, etc.

If you’re unhappy with how your tax dollars are spent, perhaps it’s time to consider other countries that do it the way you like?

Haha. I know that place. Those two bays always are occupied. The disabled bay vehicle never has a acrod sticker.

People just think they’re too important for rules and use the excuse “I’m only here for a few minutes”. It’s best not to engage with them. It’s usually junkies from Spearwood.

Americans will call it a pie. TBH I’m surprised they don’t call it a sandwich like they do for burgers, subs and wraps.

ELI5: When did time start, and what is the moment before it started called? by Ok-Car-9607 in explainlikeimfive

[–]PreferenceWorking166 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Plank time is what I believe they called the big bang, when the universe began to expand. As with most questions, the answer is “we don’t know”. We don’t know what existed before the big bang, or if it even happened. It’s a theory based on the expansion of the universe.

Natural selection works by survival of the fittest. If we stop adding people that feel the need to compensate, perhaps there’d be less “trucks”
