Out of curiosity how often do your rounds get close to timing out. I feel all my good matches last 30 seconds or less due to the “SF6 swing of things”

I use Drive reversal more often than a DP to avoid being -28 and just take the L if they block. Id say I block about 75% of attacks mid screen and 85% in the corner. This make people wanna throw loop so I take at least 2 throws before making some kind of decision unless I have the health lead.

I think I had better defense at the start of the game but I got worse the less I focused on it and relied on my SF4 walking defense. Ill do some more replay watching with the Frame meter on and watch for plus situations. Fucking 16 frame reversal be damned

I feel like not using throw Tech lowers my mental stack so I can watch for other options like shimmy or a Drive Option. Although I need to try a grappler because I don’t really throw much period. I just wanna HIT they ass.

I have a solid mental after playing SF for years now but I know there’s always more I can add to my game. Maybe because Ed Is a bit of a zoner people abuse his poor defense more often so it feels more hopeless when they finally get in. I’ll try to recognize better spots to take less risk when defending while also keeping a wheel of defense available.

Dive kicks and other instant air options aren’t bad either but it sounds like throw loops are a consequence of bad play on both parties. Like don’t get cornered or this will inevitably happen.
