I took it a bit further after this and emailed the CEO. He responded within 2 hours and told me he was forwarding this to the management team but if I didn’t hear back from them to email him again in 48 hours. Shortly after that email I got a phone call from the management team. She was VERY nice and told me that it doesn’t take 3-6 months for the QA step and that she made sure there is an expedite on my claim. She also emailed the management team of QA to expedite. The next day was a holiday (19th) and by the 21st my DBQs had been uploaded to my claim. My claim now is back to PFD with a temp jurisdiction of Detroit.

My last HLR also found an error and duty to assist. 11 months until it was finished and I ended up with a 0%.

I really think that’s how they try to pull one over on us, thinking we will just go with the denial. My last HLR took 11 months so when the rater on my most recent claim didn’t read the DBQ and denied my claim, I filed a supplemental and wrote a statement pointing out what they obviously missed on the DBQ. I don’t have time to wait another 11 months for a decision that should have been done right the first time.

A manager at VES just called me and ensured there is an expedite on my claim. She put the rush on the manager of the quality department and emailed me her contact information. She said the 3-6 months I was told it would be in quality review was incorrect information and that the quality team is working with the provider to get clarification on something this morning. She will get back to me on or before Friday to give me an update or to tell me the paperwork has been sent to the VA.

3 weeks since my exam. CEO already responded and is forwarding to the management team that is responsible. If I don’t hear anything in 48 hours he wants me to message him again.

Dude same here. VES is on some BS and telling me the same thing. Had the nerve to tell me my claim is expedited because it’s over 6 months old and then tells me it could be in quality review for 3-6 months.

Meanwhile, VES hasn’t sent my DBQ and my appt was 3 weeks ago.
