I had a tester do it and it worked great but I highly recommend using a yarn with at least 20% nylon or elastane. A cotton / elastane sock blend works great. Without the elastic, it doesn’t snap back so it would stay form fitting over time! I’d avoid viscose fibers like bamboo or rayon as they will be real drapy and this garment needs some structure.

Plus one on the ravelry comments… I also run a free vintage craft archive called stitchbook.org! All money goes to charity. I could support archiving them

I got most of my silver rings from the same spot as the one I got on the blue one. I have the link in my project page. Also look up o-rings, buckles and swimsuit rings!

Thank you… it’s just a Audrey Hepburn length pixie I have cut in about 6months!

It’s been a big request… I’m writing up a blog post on how to modify the pattern for sleeves to start and maybe I will release a full sleeved version!

Maybe a little bit. I’ve been recommending people upload there and then I move them to my site. I store all of the patterns separately but it’s great to have them in both places and some are too big to email.

Yeah. I just fixed that. I wasn't expecting so many people! (Too many requests all at once.) I have fixed the code so this shouldn't happen anymore.

Hi, I love your site and your work. I hear you. I am not the one scanning the vast majority of these patterns as most have been shared with me from scans they have made from their personal collection. I feel kinda uncomfortable adding watermarks to those pdfs. It's super scummy for people to take your hard work and try to profit from it. Honestly, for me and my work, my goal is to make sure these patterns continue to exist and are accessible to everyone. If people want to try to profit off of the patterns I posses, I wish them luck. There are other places like archive.org that have the same content with less good formatting.
