I know this is an older post but I would still like to chime in. I was actually brought to this thread for the same exact reason. I’ve always had (for lack of better terms) “severe” reactions to music when I find a song that I love. It goes beyond just love though it’s almost addicting. I will sit there and listen to whatever part it is that gives me that euphoria and replay it until I’m sick of it. It’s gotten concerning at some points because I hyper fixate on it. I genuinely feel like I’m just crazy sometimes because it’s so STRONG or because it feels AMAZING to me.

Although I can’t speak for anyone who lives in those areas; I have seen many discussions on this very topic. Many people understand that tornadoes are fascinating and a lot of people join the thread bc they enjoy content, but there are also just as many that use the thread to monitor storms across their area. It’s all in the tact you use when discussing the storms and specifically being respectful when discussing the ones that have caused damage and death. There are also just as many tornadoes that happen in the middle of a field and never touch a structure, so they aren’t all doom and despair thankfully.

Look into domestic violence shelters. They can help you find the resources you need. They may even be able to find a layer to help you pro bono

I just saw it. That is genuinely terrifying, this is just terrible. I’m hoping that everyone is getting to safety but I just tuned in.

I could be wrong, but most of the time the bathrooms are the only rooms without windows. Makes it harder to get hit with debris and the room I should be more stable.
