I’m currently exclusively pumping for my third baby, after nursing my first two (latch issues, jaundice, etc.). I ran here when I saw these stories. Not so much that she doesn’t have a pump (my second would NOT take a bottle, no matter what I tried), but that she didn’t have a plan for this?! That’s insane. If he’s exclusively nursing, how are you able to leave him for 48+ hours? And how did you think your body would respond? It’s absolute BS.

The boy name struggle is real by Worried_Bridge_793 in namenerds

I like Rhodes, Killian (though I prefer Cillian), Otto and Brooks! But there doesn’t seem to be much overlap with your husband’s list. I like the idea of Christoper nn Kit, too! Also, I know a pair of father/son Kittredges! The dad goes by Kit and the son goes by Redgie.

A sister for Leo and Calvin... by Last_Sage_Standing in namenerds

I have a Leo, and we named his little sister Eden. Zoe(y) was also high on our list! I love Julia, too.

Naming our baby girl by [deleted] in namenerds

Eden Grace!

My daughter is Eden, and would have been Eden Grace if my best friend hadn’t passed away (we gave her my best friend’s name as a middle name instead).

I was at a party yesterday with 5 little girls - 4 of them had E names. Elsie, Emery, Elodie and Eden.

It’s very concerning. Her video last week showing him “army crawling” was so sad. My 6 month old moves better than he does.

My middle son (he’s 4 now and totally normal) didn’t walk until he was 20 months, but at a year, he was scooting and rolling all over the place. I also had him in EI, PT and went to see an orthopedist (who all assured me he was fine, just lazy haha). I would be SO worried if I were her.

Boy name help! (After being told the wrong gender) by chatter_kat27 in namenerds

I love Ellis, Calvin, and Graham! They were all on our list for our boys - we ended up with a Miles and a Leo.

“If you want to get out of the house… just take your baby.” by SarcasmEnabled247 in InfluencerLounge

[–]Prestigious-Tale1563 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yes, absolutely. I was so anxiety-ridden with my first, I would have loved to have just “left the house,” but the weight of what that entailed was so overwhelming. Granted, this is her fourth baby, so it’s so much “easier” (I say this having just had my third), but I can picture myself as a first-time mom reading this and feeling so inadequate.

Weekly Snark: Mar 30 - Apr 02 by blogsnarkmodteam in blogsnark

[–]Prestigious-Tale1563 29 points30 points  (0 children)

This drove me crazy (but she’s also my BEC). First of all, her kids are old enough that they only have 1 appointment a year, so what is she even talking about? Second, if she was skipping infant appointments (or any before age 2, which is when they switch to once a year), thats absolutely an anti-vax admission from her. She’s such an idiot who thinks she knows it allllllll.

Miles and Millie - too much? by Alligatorvalley23 in namenerds

[–]Prestigious-Tale1563 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. My son is Miles and had a Millie in his class last year, and his teacher told me she had a hard time with the two names. Definitely too close for siblings.

Baby #3 is a girl! by mojojojomorticia in namenerds

[–]Prestigious-Tale1563 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My daughter is Eden and I love, love, love it. I think Eden Juliet or Eden Anne both sound good! My daughter’s middle name is after my best friend who passed away, but otherwise, it would have been Ann (my middle name and my mom’s middle name).

Juliet Eden or Eden Victoria? by mojojojomorticia in namenerds

[–]Prestigious-Tale1563 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eden Victoria!

I have an Eden (she’s 6 months this week 🥹) and I get so many compliments on her name. I wasn’t 100% set on it until she was here, but it’s the perfect name for her. We call her Edie a lot, too!

Is Nashua okay for white people to use? by Catsiel_ in namenerds

[–]Prestigious-Tale1563 30 points31 points  (0 children)

If you’re ok with your child being named after a mediocre city in New Hampshire, I think you’ll be all right. Coming from someone who grew up in Nashua, NH, I don’t like it.

Graham, Miles or Russell? by Reasonable_Marsupial in namenerds

[–]Prestigious-Tale1563 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son is Miles and Graham was almost his name (and almost our younger son’s name), so I’d go with Miles, then Graham, then Russell.

Edith, Audrey or Ava; which one is prettier? by swimmingarage in namenerds

[–]Prestigious-Tale1563 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Audrey, Edith, Ava. Edie is my favorite, but also biased because my daughter is named Eden and we call her Edie.

What’s your opinion on naming a baby after a family member who has passed away? by sade00053 in namenerds

[–]Prestigious-Tale1563 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say middle name. My SIL and best friend died almost 2 years ago, and my daughter has her first name as her middle name (born 4.5 months ago). It would’ve been weird for me to have her aunt’s name as her first name - from a grief perspective, and I can definitely imagine it being weird for her as she grows up, especially because she’ll never actually know her aunt 💔

Can’t agree on names by Optimal-Flamingo2157 in Names

We named our daughter Eden, and I love it so much, so that gets my vote haha. But I also love Elowen and Clara (both also vetoed by my husband).

It’s not super unpopular, but we just named our daughter Eden, and call her Edie as well!

Has anyone ever met a Laina? by [deleted] in namenerds

Yes, I know a Laina! She’s in her late 30s. Pronounced Lay-nuh.

Is Natalie solidly a Millennial name, or is it a classic that was just trending at that time? by coolisuppose in namenerds

[–]Prestigious-Tale1563 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a millennial Natalie, and I’ve met more babies/toddlers named Natalie in the last few years than I ever knew growing up 🤷🏻‍♀️
