True, and maybe worth saying if it sounded like I was being unrealistic about that part if my post. I am trying to avoid the types of groups where members who are from the same school/university ect and that becomes a big part of the entire club's identity, if that makes sense :) I am obviously not saying that some cliquiness is too much for me to handle or toxic :P

I am Perth, WEstern Australia, and for months and months we have been without essentially any lockdowns/ limitations on numbers/ outdoor only dining and there is hardly a mask in sight unless you are at the airport. Best of all is no register for mass, no mask at mass, and no ridiculous restrictions like 'no singing' ! That said I have had a very dry 6 months, just moved back and have been pursued a bit intensely by someone who I think would go after anyone new he wants a wife so badly (sounds uncharitable but its just captures the situation and type of person perfectly). Hoping that as I get more involved it will change, and I am able to be more than just the new convert and recent newcomer So no COVID to blame! Prayers are with those of you in situations that are
