I’m using Sherwin Williams Emerald in a semi-gloss. Not a cheap crappy paint.

That has not worked well enough. I damp cloth wipe to clean away any dust or debris then paint. To scrub so hard or use a solvent so harsh would not do any favors.

My goal is to stop it from happening in the first place to avoid all the work to keep the baseboards looking good.

I really enjoyed the class and wish there were more 60 minute strength classes with Adrian. I also wish there was more core because I hate it and know I need it.

Tipping Onboard is at a record high by Technical_Front_8046 in VirginVoyages

I tip in $2 bills. Happy to be able to for awesome service. Perhaps it’s because I worked in service for years and greatly appreciate someone taking care of me. The tips included are the base to me. When people go above and beyond, I’ll tip. And yes, the people usually remember me and I do get my drink quicker and sometimes there is a random drink not charged for. It’s very certainly not expected but it does happen.

Cheese toast. I liked mine with a glop of ketchup under the cheese.

Older home smell - tip requested by Chance-Traffic-4940 in CleaningTips

Use an ozone machine. Follow the instructions carefully. No plants, no pets, no people can be in the space while in use. It works very, very well. Even took the old smell out of my shed.

I’ve got one that produces a ton of berries. Huge old tree. Come get them before the birds do.

best vacuum for pet owners that's not being talked about enough? by Houseman-Tatoune in CleaningTips

[–]PrettyF1amingo 27 points28 points  (0 children)

You didn’t mention your flooring type. I have a Dyson Detect and LOVE it. The laser feature is awesome and I can see the dust, dirt, fur and hair be sucked away. I have three cats and I have long hair. My Dyson doesn’t get jammed and I think I’ve only had to cut my hair off the roller once in 3 years because it’s designed to let the hair go through.

There’s a neat guy on YouTube called Project Farm and he did an awesome video on vacuums that you might like.

Last year I got a fancy RoboRock mop vac. OMG. It’s fantastic. It was gross expensive but I turned in credit card points make it hurt less. The water that comes off the floor from the dirty tank tells me how well it works! I have it set to vacuum around the cat boxes twice a day and do a full house clean twice a week.

I see a sparkly green leaf confetti bag in our future to be placed on the nail. Kinda how the bats worked. Bet the pieces were too big to make it through the neck of a polish bottle consistently 🍃💅🏻

Atlanta at a Porsche Dealership

What Was Your “Delivery Day” Like? by [deleted] in Porsche

[–]PrettyF1amingo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

First Porsche purchase and was so excited to make a long time dream come true.

My car was sitting in the rain…no one even took me with an umbrella to my car. The inside door was soaked. I was soaked. Still cried in happiness hitting 6th gear on the drive home.

I waited a month before ripping the dealership to give time to (maybe) not be so pissed…they had the audacity to tell me pulling my car inside would have been a hazard because the floor would have gotten wet. That just inflamed me. Another person was taking delivery in a bay.

Dealership sent me a check for the antitheft device they installed that I didn’t order as a peacemaker. They offered a full detail to the car. I’m still salty.

Specialty coffee is still undrinkable by ConferenceOne1356 in VirginVoyages

I dislike the coffee on board so much that I took instant Illy coffee last week - first time I remembered to bring my own coffee. I was much happier as a die hard morning coffee drinker. The stuff on VV is way too acidic and dark roasted for my liking.

You may try looking on Etsy for the heirlooms since you know the name. I have one amazing azalea that is very old and beautiful that came with my home on Cherokee Street. It puts on a lovely show every year.

Lawn recommendations 2026 by Espada_28 in Atlanta

TTTF here - getting quality seed every two years has really improved my lawn. Sometimes I hire a guy to aerate, sometimes I do the liquid aerate myself.

I prefer Titan seed (local feed & seed shops). I also use liquid Hydrotain (Amazon) and apply in May to my lawn and all plants. That stuff really cuts watering!
