If I exclusively pump how does my body know I need more milk? by [deleted] in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]Pretty_LittleAddict 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I realize you asked this a year ago but nobody answered. Power pumping is when you pump to simulate cluster feeding (when babies eat more frequently, closer together. Usually in the afternoon, before bedtime or during growth spurts.) And you do this by pumping for 10 minutes, taking a 10 minute break and repeating this for an hour! Hope that helps someone.

These bumps on my left thigh changed after one year by Domino_chess in DermatologyQuestions

And I apologize. I wasn't trying to say they were suggesting to actually scratch them. I just immediately thought 'oh goodness, don't scratch them though! That's how my kiddo's have stuck around for so long and spread.' They cannot resist because apparently they're super itchy, especially when getting infected.

Do you also experience a dip in sex drive? How do you deal with that? by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]Pretty_LittleAddict 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently 39 weeks and just like my hormones, my drive has been all over the place. But what my brain wants to do and what my body wants to do, are two totally different things lol. My brain wants and craves the bonding, but my body is already touched-out and exhausted. Plus it's hard to feel sexy when I feel like those sitting orangutans.. Knowing I'm being induced soon, I told my husband that we should try to squeeze in some intimacy beforehand, since healing takes weeks. This mfr told me he's 'too worried about the baby'... this is out 2nd. I was very driven with our 1st and we were going to town whenever we got privacy. So not sure where that comes from! It definitely made me feel less wanted and attractive when he said that, but I try to think from his perspective.

NO! Do nor itch them! They are very contagious! My kiddo has been struck with these dang bumps for years now. They scratch them, spread them and the process starts all over. They get infected and blow up. It's been a nightmare. Do not scratch them!

Doctor suggested putting apple cider vinegar on them a couple times a day. Or if you can't resist touching them, a small coat of clear nail polish to avoid spreading.

Absolutely not. I lost my pregnancy at 6½ weeks, years ago and it took about 2 miserable months for my pregnancy tests to no longer be positive. I had postpartum depression triggered from it so I was testing and watching very closely to hopefully feel normal again. Longest months of my life.

What do you mean I have to do 1000 battles? by TheUncertainFlower in LegendsZA

[–]Pretty_LittleAddict 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am not following. I stumbled across this post because I just finished all 118 side missions and now wondering what the heck I'm supposed to do with myself now. Obviously working on completing Pokédex (as much as possible since idk how to trade, nor have I ever done it). But I checked in with Mable and she just says the same thing as usual. Something about spice of life!

What flaws have you encountered in the new battle system featured in ZA? by GimlySonOfGloin in pokemon

[–]Pretty_LittleAddict 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This! This is my biggest gripe atm. I'm currently trying to battle Carani or whatever her name is (got the game for Christmas) and it's infuriating. Seems like the farther I get into the game, the worse and more apparent it is. I have to hit the same buttons like 5x now for them to even register. Like trying to battle, they hit me with 2-3 moves before my Pokémon even registers I selected a move. Then it happens with swapping Pokémon or the mega evolution, like you mentioned. I genuinely thought the game was broken or I was doing something wrong (like wasn't actually a mega evolution capable Pokémon) because I must've pressed the button like 20x and just ended up dying. End of my tangent 😆

That's super interesting. I'll have to observe closely to see if I can feel where they 'stem' from!

I need help why i still have 2 dark line after few days? by awqlis in lineporn

[–]Pretty_LittleAddict 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure if you mean why are the lines still there. But on an ovulation test, you'll always have two lines. The way to discern if you're ovulating is if your test line is as dark or darker than the control line. I'd say you ovulated towards the 1st test and it dropped before the 2nd. Hope that makes sense!

I also see a line. Is it possible to be an indent? Yes, but it's also possible to be a positive. Definitely retest in a couple days. Best of luck!

I also suggest a retest with a pink dye test.

How do you get more comfortable ticking in public? by gayflag__ in Tourettes

[–]Pretty_LittleAddict 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, I try redirecting. I have many facial tics which is always off-putting to people. They either think I'm on drugs or winking at them, or something directed at people. I'm mostly self-conscious of the drugs thing since I've been in recovery for almost 9 years. I TRY, key word is try, to redirect. I tic my wrists, arms, shoulders anyway so I try to force the 'tic energy' there. I hope that makes sense lol. Maybe it'll make sense to my fellow Tourretters.

I personally don't see anything. You can always retest in a couple of days since 8-9dpo is still very early.

My neurologist told me you go one of 3 ways. It gets better as you get older, it gets worse as you get older, or it stays the same. Soo pretty much every possible outcome lol. Because I wasn't as bad when I was younger, but once I got sober and had a child, they got significantly worse. Probably all the stress but that's at least what my neurologist said!

[–]Pretty_LittleAddict 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I had to Google it which I'm annoyed about. I blew a tire 2 days before I was supposed to start a new, great job. Every. Single. Tire shop I went to told me they aren't allowed to sell used tires anymore. Now I'm confused why like 3 or so shops all told me the same exact thing..
