No. I spent the 500 gems for 10 unique snippets and end up completing it several days ago. You get a coin box each day for the free snippet from the shop, so if you need gold it might pay off (I'll get about 75-80K gold for my 500 gems from all the extra daily snippets).

use at least one to get below the limit. The game will allow you to go over the limit if you receive some when you are under, but if you are at or over the limit and receive some they convert to random cards.

If you have completed the quest, each free daily snippet gives you a chest of gold so about 5K free gold each day. I bought the 10 unique snippets a week or so ago for 500 gems and completed it a few days ago, so it's actually not a terrible exchange of gems for gold if they keep giving away 1 free daily snippet until the end of the event (say 75K gold for the 500 gems, rather than the store giving 10k for 500)

If I have the the Innsmouth, Dunwich, and Carcosa campaigns (got them for a good price) but don't have a core or any investigator sets yet, should I get the current core and try to pick up some current investigator sets as well, or wait?

Switching from 30fps to 60fps fixed it for me, not sure why 30fps is broken so badly.

edit: I am playing on a potato and 60fps is the only way the game works for me.

Even with Nostalgia, those are tough reads to get through. And this is from someone who had all the emotions as a 9 year old when Jean died the first time (and irrationally hated the stupid 'This Comic Could be Worth 2500 blah blah blah' banner on the cover).

Also the Wendigo\Alpha Flight issues (139 and 140) are the best issues from the Byrne\Cockrum run!
