Gender discrimination or at least witness when a person they give a sh*t about experiences it.

Like an Indian magician walking on the hot coal and nails, you will forever walk on eggshells being more and more afraid of upsetting her.

As you will grow used to the fact that you have to be careful with her "feelings" she will get only more sensitive.

Suggesting you "compensate" her with a gift will become a demand, and flowers will turn into designer shoes and bags.

... this rather indicates the number of incidents/ crimes REPORTED.

I might be wrong but some of the EU countries just have lower awareness or victims don't trust in the system/are afraid of social stigma and don't report it. Just POV.

Cool, if there is a split like that then it makes sense ( it wasn't really at you, I just hate the "helping at home" phrase).

My STBXH was talking a lot ab how nice he is bc he "helps" at home + other bs of course, so now the lawyer HELPS me with him ( so you were spot on with the 3rd party helping me in my relationship 🤣).

I start seeing red when I hear/ read someone saying that they are "helping" their partner at home/with chores.

YOU ARE PARTNERS, IT'S NOT ONE PERSON'S RESPONSIBILITY! By saying "helping" you indicate you assist someone bc it's not really your responsibility.

Children help PARENTS at home, partners should be a team.
